Harvesting
  • When all the green top has shrivelled back harvesting commences
  • We mostly use American built Top-air harvesters which pick up the crop, cut off the tops, and load into a lorry alongside
  • Harvesting starts in Mid January and we aim to complete in early April
  • Harvesting capacity is approximately 1200 tonnes per day and is weather permitting a 7 day of the week operation
